Connection Capital and Riverside Capital today announce the acquisition of the Cresta Court Hotel in Altrincham. Riverside Capital sell Ground Rents portfolio to return investors almost 250% in five years

Riverside Capital, the property portfolio management and investment business, has completed on the £15m sale of its Ground Rents Portfolio, reflecting a 67.6% uplift in value since purchase in 2010. In a joint venture deal with private equity partners, Connection Capital, the portfolio was originally purchased for £8.95m. Riverside Capital acquires a portfolio of UK trade park units let to Travis Perkins

Riverside Capital and Connection Capital together with the Cubic Property Fund which is listed in the Channel Islands,have acquired an 81.86% stake in Merchant Property Unit Trust “IMPUT”, which owns a portfolio of 35 trade park units in the UK that are let to building merchants Travis Perkins. The remaining minority stake is held by Travis Perkins and Colliers International. Connection Capital clients have invested £5.8m of equity with the balance of £6.5m provided by the Cubic Property Fund.
