The Power House is an iconic, 48,000 sq ft, Grade II listed building. A former electricity station, the building was constructed in 1901, with stunning Edwardian features typical of this era.

Let on a 19-year-lease to Metropolis Studios, giants of the musical industry, the Power House has been their home since inception over 30 years ago. Fitted internally to suit the needs of recording studios and musical production facilities, the space provides a creative hub deserving of its world-class reputation.

Metropolis has mixed and remastered countless legends in its Power House home – Amy Winehouse, Elton John, the Rolling Stones, Jay Z and Mark Ronson to name a few – and contributes not only to advancing digital recording methods but also analogue production, which is rapidly growing in popularity today.

Riverside Capital has exchanged contracts to purchase the building for £7 million and is now capital raising from its existing investor base and new investors.
