In December 2018, Riverside Capital seeded a new Student Housing Fund with the purchase of nine newly refurbished houses providing 61 bedrooms in Wavertree, Liverpool. Subsequently, in April 2019, the fund secured its second acquisition, 3–6 Portland Terrace, Newcastle. The Newcastle purchase added a further 44 lettable bedrooms taking the portfolio total to 105. Further purchases in Cardiff in 2020 will add additional value to the portfolio.
